Obits - NJ - 1900 - Mrs. Zilphia G. Drummond

Mrs. Zilphia G. Drummond, widow of William Drummond of Pearl street, died on Friday of cancer, aged 63 years. The funeral was held at half past
two o'clock on Sunday afternoon at Zion church on Central avenue. The sermon was preached by Rev. James D. Corrothers. Four trustees of the church,
Charles Dennis, Alex Burleigh, John Hopson and Nathaniel Miles, acted as pall-bearers. The body was buried in the cemetery at Lincroft.
Mrs. Drummond was born in New York city. After her marriage she moved to Red Bank, where she had since lived. One grown son, John Drummond of
New York survives her. Mrs. Drummond was one of the oldest members of Zion church. She had been sick about three years and had been confined to her
bed for six months. Before her sickness she was one of the most active members of the church.
