Peter Stout, Jr.

Peter Stout, Jr., died very suddenly last Thursday morning at his home near Hazlet of rheumatism of the heart, aged 50 years. Mr. Stout was sitting in a chair talking to a neighbor when suddenly he threw up his hands and expired. He had not been well for several years past, but his death was very unexpected at the time. The deceased was a son of the late Peter and Lucy Stout and was born on the Stout homestead. He is survived by a widow, who was Miss Clara Carhart, three brothers and one sister. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at St. John's M. E. Church, South Keyport, of which the deceased was a member, and interment was in Green Grove cemetery.
