THE REV. W. GREENOUGH
The Rev. Dr. William Greenough, eighty-seven years old, and for more than twenty-five years pastor of the Cohocksink Presbyterian Church, Franklin street and Columbia avenue, died yesterday at his home, 1712 North Franklin street.
The Rev. Doctor Greenough was born in Boston on July 6, 1833. He attended New York University and Western Theological Seminary, at Pittsburgh. His first charge was at Mingo, Pa. Later he went to Dayton, Ohio, where he married Miss Lucy King. He then received charge to Piqua, Ohio, later going to Logansport post until 1873.
