Deaths of a Day, Page 6, Column 1
David T. Hamilton
David T. Hamilton, an executive of the food-packing firm of James A. Hamilton, a brother, died yesterday in St. Agnes's Hospital. A year ago Mr. Hamilton was taken ill and has been unable to attend to his business for the last three months. He was twenty-nine years old.
He was a member of the Philopatrian Catholic Club and the Manufacturers' Club.
Mr. Hamilton is survived by a widow, formerly Miss Helen Riley, whom he married in October 1918, and one child. He also leaves his father and mother, two brothers and a sister, who is a religious in the order of the Immaculate Heart. He will be buried from his late residence, 4620 Sansom street, on Monday.
Dr. C.W. Schaeffer
Dr. Clarence W. Schaeffer, a widely known specialist of the throat, nose and ear, several years diagnostician for the Board of Health, died yesterday in his home, 2010 East York street. He was thirty-four years old.
He was prominent in Masonic circles. Doctor Schaeffer was the worship master of Masonic Lodge No. 9. a thirty-second degree Mason and a Shriner. He was a member of the Philadelphia County Medical Society and other medical organizations. He also was one of the organizers of the Dutch Company, a fraternal society composed of Central High School graduates. He was a graduated from Central High School, class of 1903 and of Medico-Chirurgical Medical School, class of 1907.
Doctor Schaeffer's central office was in 117 South Twentieth street. He was connected in advisory capacities with Lankenau, Episcopal, Pennsylvania and other hospitals.
Warren A. Hawley Dies
Warren Altemus Hawley, of the firm of Arrot & Hawley, fire insurance agents, at 431 Walnut street, died Thursday at his home, Stoneleigh Court, Forty-sixth and Walnut streets, after a protracted illness. He was sixty-two years old.
Samuel T. Fulweiler
Samuel T. Fulweiler, president of the P.C. Fulweiler & Bro. Cigar Co., at 927 Sansom street, died Thursday at his home in Wayne following an illness of four weeks. He was seventy-five years old.
