The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial consists of a circular courtyard with a beautiful statue of a
nurse attending a wounded man who reaches out to his comrade while his comrade reaches back towards him.
The courtyard has stairs and wheelchair accessible ramps all around leading up to the wall of honor
where panels are covered by the names and dates of birth and death of those who made the ultimate sacrifice
for their country during this conflict.
Each panel on the wall holds the information of those who fell on each date of the year. For example,
there is a single panel for those who died on May 5 of 1966, 1967, 1968, etc. We have chosen to list the
honored names alphabetically (see below) and to list the panels by date (see below)
so visitors to this site can choose to locate a specific family member's or friend's name, or
alternately, view the monument as it is.
If name of your loved does not appear in the transcription, we do not know why it has been omitted.
We do not know how to request corrections to the monument itself but
if you find errors in our transcription, we will be happy to correct them. Just use the feedback link on
the navigation bar to your left.
