class. During his entire four years he has always played on
the class soccer team, and was a very valuable member of the
school team in his Senior year. He is also one of the greatest

of the tennis season until the end "Swish" can be seen on
some tennis court acquiring skill and proficiency in his favorite

TRAGRESSER, RICHARD
"He is retired as noontide dew,
Of fountain in a noonday grove."-Wordsworth
Richard Anthony Tragresser came from St. Anthony's Parochial
School. He is quite small and is not heard very much,
but he is generally right on the job when anything is to be done.
"Ritty" took one of the prizes in the NEWS and is suspected of
writing moving picture stories. We all wondered why he took
so much interest in Geology, but we found out since that he Intends
to manage a big farm some day. He is a member of the .
General Latin Section.

WIDMYER, JOHN
"Science was his daily life."-Pope
"Love seldom haunts the breast where learning lies."
John Henry Widmyer, a graduate from Lemon Street School,
is one of our great electricians. He has done some engineering
along this line while a Senior, and was the only good "Electrical
Information Bureau" in school. The chief literary works which
he has produced are some scientific stories in the NEWS. These
were very interesting articles, showing a great knowledge and
understanding of his subject. He was the Assistant Editor of the
NEWS in which position he has been one of the most faithful
members of the Staff, always ready to capably assist both the
Editor and the Business Manager in their duties. Next year
he will enter Lehigh, where we feel sure he will attain merited
success.
