HEART ATTACK FATAL TO CHAS. W. MAGEE

Charles William Magee, 61 years old, 715 South Fourth street, suffered a fatal heart attack about 3 0'clock Thursday, afternoon at a service station at Ninth and Ohio streets.

Magee, employed by the Montgomery Ward & Company as a truck driver, had just completed the day's work and parked his truck and gone into the service station when the attack occurred.

A fire department resuscitator squad was called to the scene but attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Dr. D. M. Ferguson, Jr., deputy coroner.

He was a member of Teamsters, Chauffeurs and Helpers Local Union No. 144. Surviving are the widow, Lucille; two sons, Milford Magee of Topeka., and Charles of Louisville, Ky.; a stepson, James Thorton, of Gary; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma DeForest, of Topeka, Mrs. Ruth Wince, of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Faye Mullen, of Canton, Miss.; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The body was taken to the Callahan Funeral Home where friends may call after 5 o'clock Friday evening and where services will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning. Capt. Floyd Huey will officate and burial will be in the Roselawn Memorial Park.
