Aubrey Chancellor sr., age 57, of 2966 Chippewa Dr., Owensboro, KY, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 1985
at Mercy Hospital due to heart failure. Born in Ohio County, KY. He was employed by Thompson Homes, Inc.
and a member of Masonville Baptist church. member of the Masonic Lodge and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Maude Denny Chancellor of Owensboro, two sons, Tim Chancellor of
Leesburg, Fla., Jerry Chancellor of Leesburg, Fla., two daughters, Lynn Howell of Leesburg, Fla.
and Pam Byrd of Oxford, Fla.;six grandchildren; and five brothers, Denver, Wendell, Max and
Bobby Chancellor of Owensboro, KY. and Ray Chancellor of Leesburg, Fla.
Mr. Chancellor was preceded in death by his father Alva Carson Chancellor of Ohio county and his
mother Alma Moore Chancellor and one sister, Meta Clarice Chancellor.
Burial in Lonestar Cemetery, Centertown (Ohio co.), KY.
Aubrey Chancellor was loved and respected by all who knew him as a wonderful husband and father,
hard worker and honest and true.
He was an army veteran serving in Germany out of Camp Pickett, va. in the 1940's.
