Minnesota Obituaries - 1909 - John Andrew Everson

John Andrew Everson, one of the old settlers in town of Harrison, died suddenly from heart failure Sunday afternoon. He was returning from New London, where he had been to see the doctor, and had just stepped out of the buggy not far from Hotel Interlachen when he fell. His wife, who was with him, heard him groan a couple of times, but when she reached him life was already extinct. The remains were removed to New London to be prepared for burial. Deceased was about 60 years old and had been an inhabitant of Kandiyohi county since 1858. He was a son of Johannes Iverson, who settled on the northeast quarter of section 32, town of Lake Andrew in 1858 and who was killed by the Indians on Thursday, Aug. 21, 1862.
