Mrs. Ann W. Forman, widow of John D. Forman, died on Thursday morning, August 12th, after a brief illness of dysentary. mrs. forman was born at Long Branch in 1812, and her father, Elisha West, owned and tilled the farm which is now occupied by the Hollywood cottages and the garrison mansion. She was the mother of five children, three of whom are still living.
