John Wornsdorffer, the wealthiest farmer in Middlesex County, N.J. was harrowing in a
field during the storm on the 30th and was struck by lightning and instantly killed. His son who
was holding the horse's head was stunned, but was not killed, although the animal was. It is
feared the boy has been paralyzed by the shock.
