Samuel Titus Hunt died May 13, 1886 at Colts Neck, Monmouth Co.,NJ. He was born in the year 1806 at Hopewell, Mercer Co., NJ to Elijah and Mary (Titus) Hunt. Mr. Hunt leaves a wife, Mary Ann (Denise) Hunt and nine children, Daniel Denise, Mary Elizabeth, Eleanor B. wife of Theophilus Titus, Sarah wife of John Perdon, William Schenck, Matilda wife of Isaac Perdon, Catherine wife of Grove Rockhill, Adelia and Martin Luther Hunt.

Mr. Hunt was buried in the Colts Neck Reformed Church Cemetery.
