Capt. Charles W. Patterson, brother of George W. Patterson, of Asbury Park, died last Friday of Bright's disease at his farm in Fairfield, Howell township. Capt. Patterson was keeper of the Sandy Hook lighthouse for 26 years. About a year ago he resigned the position and moved to his farm, where he had since resided.
