Mrs. Adaline Hendrickson, of Middletown, died last Friday of the diseases incident to old age. Mrs hendrickson was born in 1803, and was the daughter of George Crawford. She was born in Middletown, on the present Edwin Beekman farm. She married Lloyd Hendrickson, a member of the oldHendrickson family of Middletown, and was the mother of four children. All the children died except the youngest, Louisa, who is unmarried and who lived with her mother in the old homestead. She will inherit all her mother's property, consisting of three large tracts of land and a large sum in bonds, railroad securities, etc. Mrs Hendrickson was a member of the Middletown Baptist church, and was largely interested in church and other charitable projects. Her funeral was held at her late residence on Monday, the sermon being preached by the Rev. F. A. Douglass, assisted by the Rev. E. J. Foote. The remains were interred in the Hendrickson burying ground on the family farm, where the members of the Hendrickson family have been buried for the past 250 years.
