Mrs. Elizabeth Wall, the old lady whose body was found floating in Central Park lake, New York, last Saturday, boarded with W. H. Thompson of Red Bank, two years ago. While here she did some fine knitting which she forwarded to the county fair at Freehold, and judges considered her work so excellent for a lady of her age that she received a number of valuable premiums. During her stay in Red Bank she attended the Methodist church and was a devout worshipper. At the breaking out of the war the Wall family resided in a house on Washington Street, and one of Mrs. Wall's daughters married the late Richard Chadwick, a business man of the town.
