This morning at eight o'clock, Elnathan T. Field, Sr., of Middletown township, died of old age. He was 81 years of age. Up to the last two years of his life, he was a wonderfully vigorous man. He had accumulated considerable property, and for the past few years of his life he had lived on his income. He was the father of two children, a son and a daughter. His daughter was the wife of Joseph A. Hendrickson, a well-known and prosperous farmer of Middletown township. She died several years ago, leaving two children, both girls. His son is Elnathan T. Field, who is still living. The time for the funeral has not yet been set. Mr. Field's estate will be divided between his son and the children of his daughter.
