John Bishop, a well known mason of Freehold, died on Sunday of last week, aged 70 years. He was a veteran of the late war, having served with credit as a private in Co. E, 29th Regiment. His funeral took place last Tuesday, the Rev. L. P. Brokaw officiating. The pall bearers were William H. Conk, Samuel F. Patterson, William S. Moore, and Julius Hillenbrand.
