Last Thursday John Gaffey, of Leonardville, was at work building a fence for A. C. Watrous of Chapel Hill. He suddenly fell in the road as in a fit, and was taken to his home, where he died in a few minutes. The cause of his death was apoplexy. He leaves a widow and several children. His funeral took place last Saturday.
