Mrs Cornelia Shutts, wife of Freeholder Jacob Shutts, died at her home near Shrewsbury last night. A week ago last Friday Mrs. Shutts sickened with the measles. She was recovering from this disease, when last Friday pneumonia set in. She was attended by Dr.s Patterson, of Shrewsbury, Cooke, of Holmdel, and sayre, of Red Bank. their united skill was insufficient to prevent a fatal termination of the disease, and death resulted as above stated. She leaves a husband and three children, two girls and a boy.

Death notice in same issue notes that she was "aged 42 years."
