Clemence I. Sutton, wife of John S. Sutton, died of a combination of typhoid fever and heart trouble of Friday afternoon, aged 28 years, 11 months and 13 days. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon from the Baptist chuch, the Rev. B. F. Leipsner officiating. The body was enclosed in a mahogany casket, and there were a great many flowers presented by friends of the deceased. The church was crowded with the people of the town and a large number of carriages followed the remains to fairview cemetery, where the interment was made. This is the third death in Mr. Sutton's family within ten months, his two children dying within a short time of each other last spring. Mrs. Sutton was a member of the Baptist church and was the organist for a number of years. She was a woman of many estimable qualities and was beloved by a large circle of friends.
