Mrs. Bessie S. Matthews, of Keyport, died very suddenly last Monday from the effects of a spasm by which she was prostrated while out riding with a gentleman. She was in the act of handing him a flower, when she syddenly fell over in his arms in an insensible condition, and never afterward recovered conciousness.
