Ex-Assemblyman James L. Rue, of Cream Ridge, died on Friday, may 14th, after an illness of only three days. he was a prominent man in his neighborhood, being director and secretary of the Pemberton and Hightstown railroad company; a director of the Hightstown bank, and treasurer of the Cream Ridge marl company. He was also prominent in politics, having been for several years a member of the Democratic county executive committee. He leaves a wife and two children.
