Miss Mary S. Maps, daughter of the late Solomon Maps, of Long Branch, died on Wednesday of last week, of a tumor. She was 53 years old and weighed 239 pounds. At her desire a post mortem examination was held and a tumor weighing 140 pounds was found in her body. This is the largest tumor which has ever been known in the history of surgery. The physician present at the examination were Drs. E. M. beach, G. W. Brown, J. Bennett, J. O. Green, S. H. Hunt and T. G. Chattle.
