Elisha L. Walton, of Long Branch, died on Tuesday of last week from a complication of diseases, of which consumption was the most prominent. He was a native of Tinton Falls, and was 46 years of age. He moved from Tinton Falls to Long Branch in 1870, and has since been engaged in a number of occupations. He had been sick for the past two years. A few days before his death he became totally blind. He leaves a widow and three children, two daughters and a son, the oldest of the daughters being the wife of A. D. Sherman. His only remaining relatives, beside his immediate family, are his father, John Walton, and his sister, Mrs. Nelson Smock, of Eatontown.
