Theodore Longstreet died at the residence of his mother on Borden street last night of consumption. He had been sick for the past two years with this disease, and had taken a trip to Kansas City and Cuba in the hope of benefitting his health. He was unable to lie in bed and for the last six months had been compelled to sleep in a chair. He was 25 years of age.

Death notice lists his age as 25 years and 18 days.
