Mrs. Martha Smock died at her residence on Wallace street last Friday morning in her fity-second year. Mrs. Smock had been sick with bowel consumption for the last nine months, and her death was not unexpected. She was married about nine years to Benjamin S. Smock, of Red Bank. She was a member of the Methodist church of Red Bank for many years. Her funeral took place on Monday, the Revs. George H. Neal and F. R. Harbaugh conducting the services. The remains were buried in Fair View cemetery. Mrs. Smock leaves one daughter, Mrs. Mary Stout, of New York.

Death notice lists her age as 51 years, 9 months and 20 days.
