Mrs. Emma Holmes Lloyd, of Holmdel township and daughter of John and Deborah Holmes, of Holmdel, died on Saturday, December 31st, at the residence of John Hopping, in Middletown township, where she had gone a few weeks before on a visit. She was stricken with paralysis two weeks before her death. Since the death of her husband she had lived in Freehold. The funeral services were held last Wednesday in the Reformed church at Holmdel, and were conducted by the Rev. I. P. Brokaw, of Freehold.
