Capt. David H. Caulkins died of liver complaint at the Highlands on Sunday. He was 64 years of age and for nearly ten years past had been the keeper of the Highlands twin lights. His widow and several children survive him. His funeral takes place to-day and his remains will be taken to New York city. Capt. Caulkins had a wide experience as a seaman and had sailed all over the world in the service of the merchant marine.
