William Hitchcock, an old resident of Red Bank, died at his home on Borden street last Thursday evening aged 87 years and 3 months. Mr. Hitchcock moved from England to Red Bank about thirty years ago and engaged in business, from which he soon retired. Mr. Hitchcock had been a member of the Methodist church for seventy years, and had been connected with the Methodist church in Red Bank for the past thirty years. He leaves a widow and four children, one son and three daughters. The funeral services were held in the Methodist church on Monday morning, the Rev. Henry Belting officiating. His remains were buried in the Peters plot at the Fair View cemetery.
