On Saturday, July 11th, Thomas P. O'Leary, a brother of Rev. J. M. O'Leary, died at Hillsdale from consumption. He had been sick about eight months, and had spent the winter in Georgia, in the hopes of curing the disease. The funeral was held on Monday last week. Five clergymen of the Catholic church were presnt, including the Rev. M. E. Kane, of Red Bank. The young ladies choir of St, James was also present and assisted in the services. The remains were not interred. It was his wish, as well as the wish of his parents, that his body be sent to his native place at Clomkilty, County Cork, Ireland, and this will be done as soon as the arrangements can be made.

Death notice lists his age as 23 years.
