G. W. Stoddart, formerly an actor of note, has for several years made his summer home in a magnificent villa at the Highlands, and his son-in-law, Ned Burgess, well known in the histrionic world, shared with him the comforts and luxuries of the establishment. Mr. Stoddart died on Monday from an affection of the liver, at the age of 62 years. His funeral takes place to-day.
