W. Bayard Burtnett died at Fair Haven on Tuesday of last week at the age of 68 years. The funeral was held at eight o'clock on Thursday night and the remains were taken to New York the next morning for interment in Greenwood cemetery. Mr. Burtnett was a custom house officer in New York city.

Death notice lists his date of death as Thursday, May 24th and his age as 70 years.
