Frank Schroeder, a son of Frederick Schroeder, of Red Bank, died in the New York hospital last Friday of malarial fever. The body was brought to Red Bank where the funeral was held on Sunday, the interment being made at Fair View.

The young man was 23 years of age. Last December he went to Florida in the employ of Messrs. Field and Osborne, the cocoanut planters. White at work he ran a cactus thorn in one of his fingers which incapacitated him for labor for some weeks. When the wound was about healed he was taken down with Malaria fever and in order to save his life he was brought North, arriving in New York on Monday of last week. he was taken to the hospital for treatment, but in spite of the best medical treatment he died on Friday.
