Mrs. Hannah Cottrell, widow of Garrett Cottrell, died at Matawan on Sunday of last week. She was over 85 years of age. Her health had been declining for several years and she had been confined to her bed most of the time for many months. She leaves a son and two daughters. One of the daughters is the wife of Whitehead Brown and the other is the wife of Peter Conover, both of whom live near Freehold.

Death notice lists her age as 85 years, 2 months and 10 days.
