Death of a Centenarian
Another centenarian has passed away.
Wm. Guise was born in the state of New Jersey in August, 1787, and for the
last four years had lived at North Long Branch, where he died on Monday of
last week. He was a furnace tender during his life. Old age did not stop
his activity until a year and a half ago, since which time he had been confined
to his bed. He was 101 years of age.
Death notice lists his age as 101 years and 2 months.
