Mrs. Ann Eliza Sickles, wife of Assessor Richard Sickles, of Shrewsbury, died on Friday of last week. She had been an invalid for 25 years. She was a daughter of Samuel Burdge, of Leonardville, and was the last of four daughters. One of her sisters was the mother of Mrs. H. J. Child, of Red Bank; another was Gordon Sickles first wife; and a third was the wife of Ogden Bray. Edward Burdge, who lives on the old homestead at Leonardville, is now the only remaining member of the family.

Mrs. Sickles was afflicted with a tumor. At times she would be apparently better, but the improvement was only temporary. About a year ago she was stricken with paralysis, and since that time had been helpless. The funeral was held yesterday.

Death notice lists her age as 64 years.
