Henry Spaulding, who was a school teacher for many years, died at his home at Shrewsbury on Sunday. Mr. Spaulding taught in many of the schools of Monmouth county, his pupils being boys who are now middle-aged men. For a number of years past he had lived quietly at Shrewsbury. his death was very sudden and was caused by pneumonia. He was taken sick last Wednesday and died four days afterward. He was 72 years old. The funeral took place this afternoon at Shrewsbury Presbyterian church.

Death notice spells his surname as Spalding and his age as 72 years, 9 months and 7 days.
