Theodore Conklin, many years ago a resident of this community, died suddenly
in Brooklyn on May 26 from heart disease, aged 60 years. He was a resident of
New York and had called upon a friend employed in one of the public buildings
in Brooklyn. Together they had gone for a walk and while on the street Mr.
Conklin was suddenly overcome by heart trouble and died without speaking.
The funeral services were held at the residence of his sister, Mrs. William
Collins, Brooklyn, on May 29, and interment was in Greenwood. Mr. John
Stevens, of this place, is a half brother on Mr. Conklin, and was in
attendance at the funeral.
