Obituaries - NJ - 1896 - William H. Williams
|
DEATH OF W. H. WILLIAMS
Mr. William H. Williams, for many years, one of our respected citizens, died at the home of his son, John Williams, at Edgely, PA on Wednesday.
The deceased had been ill for about two months, the real cause of death being blood poisoning from a grangrenous wound in one of his limbs.
This wound had resulted from the mere scratch of a stick of wood he was cutting. Mr. Williams was 82 years old and a widower. Two sons, John
and Henry, and three daughters, Mrs. Horace Brown, Mrs. Charles Brown and Mrs. H. B. Lokerson survive him. Mr. Williams was for many years
Jamesburg's only harness maker and only relinquished the business about two years ago. Since then he has been living with his son John at
Edgely, PA.
The remains will arrive here today at 10:00 a.m. and be met by relatives and Fidelity Lodge, I.O.O.F., the latter taking charge of the
services at Fernwood Cemetery, after funeral services in the Presbyterian Church.
