New Jersey Obituaries - August 11, 1897 - Peter Young
|
Peter Young, a summer resident of Locust Point, died suddenly yesterday at his home on the river bank. He had been suffering with locomotor ataxis. He was a prominent business man of Brooklyn. He had lived at Locust Point during the summer for a great many years. Two years ago he built a fine new house on the river bank at Locust Point, which he occupied last summer and this summer. He was 61 years old and for the past 21 years he had been blind. He leaves a wife, and a married daughter who lived with him. The funeral will be held at St. James's church at Red Bank on Saturday morning at half-past nine o'clock.
