New Jersey Wills - December 1, 1897 - Corlies L. Emmons
|
Corlies L. Emmons directed that a monument be placed over his grave and he bequeathed to his wife such portion of his estate as the law allowed her. To his grandchildren, Corlies Longstreet, George L. Longstreet, Mary E. Anderson, Dora M. Arrose, Irene A. Patterson and Eva Emmons, he left one dollar each. The rest of his estate is to be divided share and share alike among his children, Lewis Emmons, Tunis Emmons, Mrs. Sarah Mariner, Mrs. Mary H. Hulse, Mrs. Phoebe Clayton and Robert Emmons. George W. Patterson, Jr., and James Cottrell are the witnesses to the will, which was made last October.
