New Jersey Obituaries - December 1, 1897 - Mrs. Mary (Sammis) Townley

Mrs. Mary Townley of Long Branch died on Monday of last week, aged 85 years. She was a daughter of William Sammis and was born at Dover on August 15th, 1812. Mrs. Townley was the widow of Alexander Townley, who died over sixty years ago. She had lived at Long Branch for the past thirty years. Two children survive her. Mrs. Townley has a twin sister living at Dover.
