New Jersey Obituaries - December 15, 1897 - Mrs. Jane (VenCleve) Johnson

Mrs. Jane Johnson died at the home of Amos M. Cottrell near Jerseyville last Thursday. She was 93 years old. She was born at West Freehold in 1804, and was the daughter of Elizabeth and Benjamin VanCleve. She married James L. Johnson in 1825. He died several years ago. Mrs. Johnson was for 25 years a member of the Freehold Baptist Church. She leaves two children, George Henry Johnson of Trenton and Elmira Soden of Turkey.
Per the Death Notice Mrs. Johnson was aged 93 years, 5 months and 28 days.
