New Jersey Obituaries - December 15, 1897 - Thomas Oakes

Thomas Oakes of Oceanic died on Monday morning of a complication of diseases. He had been in poor health for the past five years, but was not taken seriously sick until last Wednesday. He was 57 years old. Mr. Oakes leaves three children-Mrs. Frank Jeffrey of Oceanic and Thomas and John Oakes of Trenton. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at nine o'clock from the house and at ten o'clock from the Holy Cross Catholic church at Seabright.
