Drowned at Matawan
Frank Bengston, a Swede, was drowned in the creek at Matawan on Saturday, July 3d. He went in bathing , but he could not swim. When he got beyond his depth he became frightened and called for help. One of his companions was nearly drowned in an effort to save him. Bengston was employed by the American telephone company. He was 24 years old.
Per the Death Notice Mr. Bengston was aged 24 year and 6 months.
