New Jersey Obituaries - July 21, 1897 - Anthony M. Allaire, Jr.

Anthony M. Allaire, Jr., of New York, died of paralysis at the Globe hotel last Friday morning. Mr. Allaire was first stricken with paralysis three years ago. Last Wednesday, while on his way to Red Bank on the boat, he suffered another stroke and became unconscious. He was taken to the Globe hotel and his family were sent for. He died without regaining consciousness.
Mr. Allaire was a brother of Edward S. Allaire of Leroy place. He was born in New York, but part of his life was spent at Red Bank. Mr. Allaire was 51 years old. He leaves a widow and three sons, Isaac, Harry and Milford. The body was taken to New York on Friday, where the funeral was held on Sunday night. The burial was in the family plot in Sleepy Hollow cemetery at Tarrytown.
