New Jersey Obituaries - July 21, 1897 - Henry Howland
|
Henry Howland of Asbury Park died last Friday morning, aged 82 years. His death was caused by paralysis, with which he was stricken about two weeks ago. Mr. Howland established the Howland house at Long Branch in 1844. He leaves a widow and six children. The children are Harry Howland, John A. Howland, Jacob Howland, Edward Howland, Mrs. Woolman Stokes of Long Branch and Mrs. G. D. Tallman of Red Bank. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at Christ church, Shrewsbury.
