New Jersey Obituaries - November 17, 1897 - Lewis Katen

Lewis Katen, the oldest brother of the late Mrs. William Haddon of Red Bank, died suddenly in New York city on Sunday of last week of throat trouble. He was 94 years old and was the last remaining member of his family. He was well known to a number of Red Bank people, having visited here a great deal. Notwithstanding his advanced age he retained the full use of his faculties. He was the oldest member of the society of mechanics and tradesmen of New York city.
