New Jersey Obituaries - November 17, 1897 - George H. Marks
|
George H. Marks, son of Helen L. and George W. Marks, died at Atlantic Highlands last Saturday of typhoid fever, aged 24 years. He had been sick about a week. A widow and a young child survive him. He had a large circle of friends and was very popular. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from his late home. The service was conducted by Rev. John B. Haines, assisted by Rev. W. H. Hillier and Rev. J. W. Nickleson. A choir of young women sang several selections. The burial was in Bay View cemetery.
