New Jersey Obituaries - October 6, 1897 - Edward R. Mabb

Edward R. Mabb of West Long Branch died suddenly of heart disease at six o'clock last night. He was apparently in his usual health all day and worked as an assistant to the sexton of the West Long Branch cemetery. Shortly after five o'clock he went to Dr. Beach to be treated for what he thought was an attack of indigestion. While taking the second dose of medicine for this ailment he fell dead from heart disease. He was born at Schenectady, N. Y., and was 43 years old. He leaves a widow and two sons, Millard E. and Edward L. Mabb.
